Start your day by meeting your guide and driver at a centrally located meeting point across from Central Station Amsterdam. You will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned luxurious minivan will take you to your destination in an approximately 60-minutes ride.
Once in the Hague you will begin your tour with a city tour trough the aristocratic city of The Hague, which is also the seat of the Dutch government. The Hague is home to the parliament as well as all of the countries ministries and hosts some of the offices and buildings belonging to the United Nations. During the tour, you’ll be stopping at the Peace Palace and the International Court of Justice, which is the only one of the UN’s six principal organs not located in New York.
Afterwards you have a choice of activities that you may wish to do. A visit to Madurodam or/and a visit to the Mauritshuis .
At the Madurodam, you can see the Netherlands in its entirety, albeit 25-times smaller. This outdoor park is divided into three themes: water, friend and enemy, historical Dutch cities and the Netherlands as inspiration to the world. You will see the famous Dutch landmarks such as the Rijksmuseum, the Binnenhof, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, windmills, tulip fields, the Port of Rotterdam and traditional canal houses.
In Mauritshuis which is home to the finest Dutch paintings from the Golden Age. Discover masterpieces such as Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl earring and paintings of the famous Rembrandt van Rijn.
Finally, at the end of the day you will be transferred back to Amsterdam.
