After meeting at our office in the center of Las Ramblas we head on to the La Boqueria Market, one of the most famous places in Barcelona for finding fresh food. Next, we will explore the Güell Palace designed by Antonio Gaudi while he was first starting his career. He got the inspiration from the Spanish Islamic art (mostly mudéjar). It's a splendid example of oriental style design which made UNESCO enlist it as a World Heritage Site. Your tour can end here with further exploration of the building or you can opt out for an option with tapas tasting. For those who choose this option the tour continues to the restaurant Cafè de l’Òpera. Located in front of the Liceo's Opera in the heart of Las Ramblas, this modern styled restaurant has been working as a catering place since 18th century. Taste four delicious tapas (Spanish omelette, jam, croquettes and potatoes with “brava” sauce) and 1 drink (to choose between a glass of wine, beer, soft-drink or water).
