Day Tours & Trips to Budapest from Budapest

(3.7/5 based on 3 reviews)
Five star

The Danube tour was amazing. We highly recommend this tour company and we were lucky to have Robert as our guide. He is very nice and knowledgeable so we hope you will have him as well. The tour is quite long but well worth it!

We were picked up 15 minutes late, which wasn't too bad. We got to the palace by 10:40 and then were told we had to wait until 11 to begin our tour, even though we saw that the palace opened at 9 am. The guide was unable to answer questions such as "what was this room used for", and "when was Queen Elizabeth born", and had to ask someone who worked there for that information. Robert (the guide) was very friendly, but didn't seem to have any real knowledge of the place. To rectify this, he got us audio tour guides. So we did a self-guided audio tour ourselves while he waited downstairs. We did not get to see the gardens besides asking him if we could take a few minutes to peek outside. We did not hear any stories about Elizabeth or anything described in the overview of the tour. We were done the self guided tour by 12 and left by 12:30, we were dropped off at 1:15. Altogether the tour was very disappointing.
