Discover the artistic city of Szentendre and relax from the crowded streets and fast life of Budapest. This charming town’s cobblestoned streets were made for exploring while soaking up the Mediterranean atmosphere around you. Visit outdoor exhibitions of artworks by young artist from all over Hungary and take the opportunity to visit many of the town’s museums and gift shops where you can buy souvenirs. Another thing that’ll amaze you is the life sized marzipan sculpture of Michael Jackson in the Marzipan Museum. Also, don’t miss out on climbing the hill so you can see spectacular views of colorful rooftops surrounding the river Danube. In the summertime (between 1st of May and 30th of September) you’ll even cruise down the Danube by boat on your way back to Budapest (apart from the times when the water level isn’t too low in which case, like in the winter months, we return by bus to the city centre).
