A great day out! Mijet is an amazing Island and the National Park is truly stunning, our trip was booked by Jelica at Stella Maris apartments in Cavtat, she even accompanied us to the bus! and as we travelled the Guide was very informative about all aspects of life in Croatia, everything ran smoothly and everyone was very polite, I'd definitely recommend HAPPYtoVISIT as an excellent tour Company.
Booked this through the web and, as promised there was a hotel pick up and our guide was very well spoken and knowledgeable. Fantastic day trip, the lakes are clear blue and warm, and very salty.
We were a bit worried at the start of today as our pick up point was changed at late notice last night. Needn’t have worried as worked out fine and collection driver turned up to the right place on time. It a little difficult when on holiday and out exploring as the WiFi signal is lost. Might be useful if messages sent as well. The ferry from Dubrovnik to Mljet was probably an efficient way to get there but it was a bit dull. We ended up recognising it was a means of getting from A to B rather part of the day out. Once we arrived Mljet the day out became superb. We were met by Angela who had her own, excellent way of communicating with all those on the trip in very small groups. Worked exceptionally well and felt like a very personal service. Overall Angela was excellent and undoubtedly added to a fantastic destination.
Mljet island is very nice and we were able to visit the two salt lakes and of course Ste Maria Island. Colors are worderfuld. The trip was different as announced as we were supposed to go by speed catamaran from Dubrovnic and in reality we use a Bus (1.5 hour) and a small boat during (50 mn). We suppose this is due to the fact that we were only around 30 people but we would have appreciated to be aware before leaving. At the end of the day it was a nice experience as we were able to visit Ston and taste its delicious oysters. Our guide, Braco, was very nice and interesting and all the pickup process was well organised.
