Auschwitz Birkenau (1940 - 1945), is a complex made of three well-known concentration camps, and a factory: Auschwitz I, the administration center, Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the extermination camp, Auschwitz III-Monowitz, the work camp, that was just along Buna factory of IG Farben. The last two never made it to the present time. A place of the biggest mass extermination ever seen by humanity during WWII. People who lived there were slaves and conducted as animals, very few of them survived for more than half of a year. Over a million people died in those camps, and prisoners were taken from every country in Europe that was dominated by Germany. The most numerous people in the camp were Jews.
