Our tour begins with the visit to
Belem, a part of
Lisbon situated on the mouth of the
river Tagus. It bears great historical importance as a 15th century harbour; this was the time when
Portugal was a major seafaring force set on discovering the routes to
India,
East Africa, and
Brazil. Today, this location carries a reminder to those days – the amazing
Torre de Belem. This spectacular monument, along with the
Jeronimus Monastery, the most famous example of the Manueline style, is now listed as the
UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After this, you will have the chance to enjoy a fantastic view from Pilar 7 that follows the coastline all the way to Cascais. This is actually a platform placed next to a Lisbon bridge that allows you the perfect view. Become a maintenance worker in your VR experience that will give you the first-handed insight into how this magnificent bridge was built.
We will proceed to Cacilhas, a charming picturesque part of Lisbon on the other side of the Tagus river, where you can introduce your taste buds to the traditional Portuguese cuisine as we stop for lunch. On our way to our meeting point, we will make a detour for a fantastic panoramic view of the city from the 133 metres high rock. Get close to one of Lisbon’s most iconic monuments, the Cristo Rei statue, and share amazing scenery.
As the tour comes to an end, we will have one more stop. Our last panoramic view will be more relaxing experience as is somewhat more intimate than the previous location and will give you a different perspective of this beautiful city.
