Driving along the Adriatic coast, we come to Klis, where we visit Klis Fortress, a unique example of fortification architecture in Croatia. The fortress was first mentioned in the 5th century, which was impenetrable due to its prominent position.
The road then leads to Sinj, a small town known for Alka where we visit the Museum of Alka. Alka is a Croatian knight game that is traditionally held in Sinj since 1715 to commemorate the victory over the Turks. Riders, called Alkari, are trying to hit the alka which hangs on a rope at a height of 3.2 meters. The race begins 180 m away from the hoop (alka). The procession includes a Duke, Alkar troops, troops of young men and escorts.
