Relax and enjoy lunch on your own in Amboise or Chenonceaux. Chateau de Cheverny: Tour this charming privately owned castle filled with fine furnishings and beautiful, meticulously maintained gardens. Chateau de Chambord: Visit the royal castle of Chambord, the largest in the region, featuring a unique staircase built by Leonardo de Vinci and lush, beautiful grounds. Saturdays and Mondays in Summer: Tour visits Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord. (Amboise is a beautiful historic chateau overlooking the Loire River).
