From the moment you depart prepare yourself for unique experience of disconnecting from everyday life and connecting with an intact nature.
After 1 hrs 30 min of relaxing ride on which you’ll be served with welcome drink (spirit) to wake you up and with breakfast, we’ll pass through “Mala Proversa” sea passage between “Dugi otok” and “Katina” and enter the beautiful landscapes of Telašćica – the largest and best protected natural harbor in the Adriatic.
Thanks to its extraordinary beauty, richness and importance, this bay was declared a Nature park in 1988th. It is an area of contrast – on one hand it is the safest, most beautiful and largest natural harbor in Croatia with 25 exotic and peaceful beaches, on the other hand it is an area of wild and steep cliffs rising up to a height of 161 meters and reaching down to a depth of 90 meters. In the bay area there are 13 islands and islets, and all of them will be visible from the boat, especially islet “Taljurić” which is famous for its unique shape.
In your free time you should definitely visit another natural phenomenon – the salt lake “Mir”. The lake is connected to sea by underground canals, but due to stillness of water the salt and temperature levels are higher than in the open sea. It is also possible to walk around it on an educational trail.
Nature park Telašćica is divided from National park Kornati only by a sea passage so you can enjoy in breathtaking panoramic view to National park Kornati on the way there and back. On the way back you’ll also have time to take a stroll through a fishing village “Kukljica” on the “Ugljan” island which is a typical Dalmatian village with narrow streets and stone houses. After a short ride to Zadar, you’ll arrive to the land richer for a lifetime experience of spending a day in pristine nature.
