Excursion to Plitvice Lakes from Istria region

All in all this was a great tour. We were staying in Pula. We left very early (at 7 am) and got back around midnight, so it is an extremely long and exhausting tour (with a lot of pickups of other participants on the way). It is worth it, though. The landscape is beautiful, but unexpectedly crowded (we went at the end of May). During the main vacation season it will probably be super crowded. Be aware that there is a lot of walking (including stairs), and often you will walk over wooden boards/bridges, so sturdy footwear is best. The only thing I'm not satisfied with was the condition of the bus. There were a lot of broken things (tray tables missing, broken screens) and dirty areas. My boyfriend's seat also broke when he sat down, even though he is not overweight. I also think including one free drink (or just water) for the late lunch/dinner would be nice. (The Magical Istria Tour includes free water at dinner.)

One Day Trip through Istria from Pula and Medulin

This is a lovely tour that I can especially recommend to people new to Istria. Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the history of Istria, Pula and the towns that we visited. We had free time at each of our destinations, which was great for some shopping, taking more photos or just relaxing a bit. The lunch that was provided tasted great and there was a vegetarian option for my partner as well. Overall a really amazing tour! Thanks a lot!

The boat ride was fun and our guide gave us a lot of information about the things that we saw. The downside is that this tour is advertised online as a 5-hour trip (including a break for swimming), but the island where the swimming was supposed to happen was still closed when we went on the tour (apparently it usually opens around June 15th), so we actually only had a 2.5 hr long tour for the exact same price... I think it should be mentioned online if swimming will most likely be possible (5 hr tour) or not (2.5 hr tour), and the price for the 2.5 hr tour should be cheaper. The people who did the tour were great. I think this is just a problem with the way that this tour is advertised.
