Departing from Arena, the Roman amphitheatre, we will go on a walking tour through the magical town of Pula.
It is the biggest town situated on the southern part of Istrian peninsula. Pula has been occupied, destroyed and rebuilt many times through its 3000 year old history. This great city has many monuments that are a perfect example of Roman architecture like the famous Roman amphitheatre known as the Arena, where warriors and lions entertained a crowd of up to 25,000 people, and now it's a place where summer film festivals and concerts are held. You will also have a chance to see the Triumphal Arch of the Sergi from the 1st century B.C., Hercules’ Gate and Twin Gates, the Temple of Augustus, Small Roman Theatre and many other remains of the Roman architecture.
