We will start this tour with a panoramic drive trough olive groves and vineyards towards to the mideval city Motovun. Our guide will introduce you with stories and legends of this town, situated high on a hill, overlooking magnificent Istria. The guide will take you on a tour around the ancient town, and show you the fortress surrounding Motovun. You will have the oppurtunity to see and buy traditional souvenirs, dried lavander, and lavander oil, handcrafts, woodcarvings and more.
We will continue to a neighboring town Grožnjan, city of musicians and artists. Grožnjan is a city that looks like it came from a fairy tale, with many galleries where you can buy paintings, statues, pottery, and products made from Murano glass.
Last stop on our excursion will be Baredine Cave, known for its millions of years old stalactites and stalagmites, that form interesting images and natural sculptures. The cave is more than 60 m deep. We will go down very safe stairs and handrails that will take us to many cave rooms and corridors that lead down to cave lakes.
