Depart from Rabac at 8.30am and head towards the beautiful historical city Pula. It is the largest town located on the southern part of Istrian peninsula.
Every step you take through this old city is a landmark that is adorned by the rich history. Pula has been occupied, destroyed and rebuilt many times through its 3000 year old history. The city (ancient Polensium) has numerous monuments of Roman architecture such as the famous Roman Amphitheatre, locally known as Arena, where the gladiatorial combats where held and in the new era, summer film festivals and concerts. You will also have a chance to see the Triumphal Arch of the Sergi from the 1st century B.C., Hercules’ Gate and Twin Gates, the Temple of Augustus, Small Roman Theatre and many other remains of the Roman architecture.
The tour will end at 12:45pm and in about an hour, you will be back in Rabac.
