The fortress in Veliko Tarnovo is very nice, we would’ve liked to see more of it. The small house in Arbanassi was a nice exemple of vernacular architecture. Because it is a 3 hour drive maybe the tour should start at 7 to have more time to visit the fortress. Again Mariya was very plesant and knowledgeable.

The booking process with HappyToVisit was simple and quick. A very good service. The pickup was at our hotel.It was on time and finally it was a private tour by car. Good surprise ! The driver was our guide. Her name was Maria, a nice woman, who knows perfectly Bulgaria, its History and its Geography. She spoke English fluently and her accent was perfect for our french ears. We made everything that was planned and Maria knew how to adapt the schedule regarding the weather (very cloudy and a little rainy) and our tastes. Well done, Maria ! The only small problem of our tour is that Veliko Tarnovo is 3 hours far from Sofia and the second part of the road is not that good. It is a simple road with many trucks on it and the overtakings were a sport !

The bookin process was ok as always on the website. The pick up on time and perfect. The guide and the driver was good and so was the vehicle. The tour schedue was perfectly matched with the description on the website. The tour was nice even if the Arbanassi village was not so amazing. VelikoTarnovo, instead, is really amazing. The only cons of the tour was the time to arrive but this doesn't depend on the organizer but on the Bulgaria's roads that are a little bit old. I recommend the tour anyway.
