Split Art & Museum Tours

A great day from start to finish. Antony picked us up at the hotel near our apartment on time in a very comfortable vehicle. There were 6 of us on the tour and we had plenty of space. The drive is long but we stopped for food/toilet break both going to Dubrovnik and the way back. The walking tour in Dubrovnik is interesting and useful as Diana gave us the details and costs for various tourist trips we might like to do. We arrived in Dubrovnik and had the walking tour from 10.30-11.30 and then had 4.5hours free to discover the town. We managed to go up in the cable car, walk the city walls, have lunch and go to Fort Laurence in that time. That was okay with us but if you wanted to visit any museums then time would be tight.

A long day (3.5 hours travel there and back by comfortable mini van but worth every minutes with spectacular views of the interior countryside and then along the cost line. Antoni our driver was very careful and very friendly and professional. At our arrival in Dubrovnik, we were welcome by a guide who did give us a good general intro to the town, its history and architecture as well as more practical info for the rest of the visit. The guided tour lasted about 45 minutes but was sufficient and give us time for exploration of the town on our own. Altogether we had 5.5 hours in Dubrovnik which is sufficient for a good visit. I would highly recommend this day tour.

Having spent a very enjoyable day in Dubrovnik with Aegean 4 u I must congratulate petty for his expert knowledge of the history and local area between split and Dubrovnik. The pick up was on time in an air conditioned mini bus about 31/2 hrs I then spent 4hrs exploding Dubrovnik which is well worth a visit. Over all I would recommend this site for all my excursions again
