Visiting Krka Waterfalls is one of the best ways to escape the conreate of the city, and spend some time in one of the most beautiful national parks. Enjoy an amazing day viewing sights beyond the human imagination, swim in the lower lakes of the river, explore the wooden pathways across the river and visit the important sights of the National park such as the etno museum, Jaruga - the first hydro-plant in Europe and an old watermill.
The Krka Waterfalls tour from Split starts by a comfortable drive with an air-conditioned minivan/bus (depends on the size of the group on that particular day) to the beautiful village Skradin. From there you will take a short boat ride that will take to the one of the most beautiful sights of the park - Skradinski Buk. There you will have 5 hours of free time to spend however you like. Take one of the several recommended paths to walk along the park, visit the etno museum, the old watermill and the hydroelectric power plant Jaruga - the first to be build in Europe and second in the world. Don't forget to bring your swimsuits as swimming is allowed in the lower lakes of the national park. There will be also plenty of opportunities to have lunch in the park.
We return to Split at about 17:30.
