What shall I see

Book this tour and enjoy the ride through the town of Split in an electric vehicle called Tuk Tuk. We will depart at 8am and head to Bačvice beach, a beautiful sandy shallow beach that is placed in the very center. Next, we will continue our drive across Strossmayer Park to the statue of Grgur Ninski and "Golden gate", the main entrance to the Diocletian's palace. After you touched Grgur's thumb for good luck, we will continue and pass by "Split National Theater" up to Terasa Vidilica where the view of the old town will take your breath away! Next stop will be Kašjuni beach, placed on the southern side of Marjan Hill. After, we will stop at St. Stephen park for a magical view of the harbor, nearby islands and sparkling clear Adriatic Sea.

First Stop: Bačvice Sand Beach

First stop is 10 min ride to Bacvice beach a natural phenomenon in the heart of the city and also the most popular sandy beach in the center.

National Theater Split (drive by)

It is „Split National Theater“ built 1893 and is one of the oldest surviving theatres in Dalmatia. The building was designed by local architects Emilio Vecchietti and Ante Bezić.

Second stop: Golden gate, Statue of Grgur Ninski, Peristil

On our short city tour we will see „Statue of Grgur Ninski“ and „ Golden gate“. „Statue of Grgur Ninski“ was 10TH century Bishop supporter of slavenik language. Built by the most famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović 1920. Legend says that we should touch his thumb for luck, his toe has been worn smooth and shiny as a result. “Golden gate” Emperor Diocletian walked through them as he entered the Palace on the 1st of June 305. They were built in the shape of a rectangle, with double doors, as part of the defensive military tactics. It was main entrance to the Diocletian’s palace. “Peristil” is the central square of the palace, . Owing to its unique beauty and unusual acoustics, Peistyle became the ideal theatre scenery, perfect for opera classics and works of ancient literature, but also the stage where abundant urban life continues

Third stop: TERASA VIDILICA (panoramic spot)

Our third stop is “Terasa Vidilica” it is up to 10 min ride from „Split National Theater“ on our ride wewill pass next to old stadium of local fottball team „Hajduk Split“. On “Terasa Vidilica” you will have the most beautiful panoramic city view. It is located on southeast side of Marjan Hill.

Kašjuni beach and panoramic view on nearby islands

After Terasa Vidilica we contiune with our ride to the beautiful Kasjuni beach, where we can have short break for photo shooting etc.

Fourth Stop St. Stephen Park

From Kašjuni Beach we have 5-10 min ride to our next stop St.Stephen park,that use to be a first cemetery for the local population,and now it beautiful park whit small church overlooking the city and marina.

West Coast promenade and Republic(Prokarative) square

On our way back we will pass recently restored west coast promenade to Republic Square with option to laeave you on the west side of Riva or take you to the pick up point.
