The Blue Cave, located on the island Biševo, near the island of Vis, is a beautiful cave on the shore that can be entered only by using a small boat. Due to underwater holes where the sunlight can pass through, the whole cave is painted in a beautiful blue color which makes it very unique. The Blue Cave is probably the most important attraction on this tour but since the cave visit lasts about 5 minutes, the bout tours visiting the Blue Cave include several other stops. Usually the tours include a visit to Stiniva, a popular bay on Vis, the Green cave, another beautiful cave on the island Budikovac, Pakleni islands - a beautiful archipelago and the city Hvar on the island of Hvar.

Visiting so many destinations which are relatively far from Trogir, all boat tours to the Blue Cave are operated by small group speedboats. The Blue cave, being usually the first stop on the tour, is located about 1 hour away by speedboat. Sometimes the ride can get bumpy so it is not recommended for smaller children and pregnant women. The so called 5 island speedboat tour, or the Blue Cave speedboat tour got very popular in the last several years and quickly become one of the best selling tours in the region. It's a great option if you would like to visit as many sights as possible in one day and you don't mind - or actually crave - a bit of an adrenaline ride between the islands of central Dalmatia.

This trip is a great way to see a lot if you don't have a lot of time in Split. The guys were great hosts, good information, plenty of time to explore or sit on a beach. Blue caves were really interesting. Beautiful part of the world!!
