On this tour, you will visit Trakai town, where you will explore Užutrakis manor, where noblemen of Lithuania used to live in 19th century, and its beautiful park. In the old town, you will meet Karaites, local ethnic group from Crimean peninsula that settled there in 15th century. They will tell you stories about town and you will have a chance to try their local specialty "Kibinas", oven baked pastries stuffed with meat or vegetables. You will also visit the famous Castle. It lies between a few lakes on a tiny island and was built in 15th century by the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. Your guide will tell you historical stories and facts about the Castle. Then, we will go for a walk through Trakai town and stop for Kibin delicious lunch. Your journey will end with a drive back to your hotel in Vilnius.
