Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera is a modernist building designed by Antoni Gaudí. This building has been under the protection of UNESCO since 1984. Structural innovations include a freestanding facade which is supported by its own structure which is independent of the rest of the building. Light is able to enter every corner of the house, the attic features a series of 270 catenary arches and the roof terrace is composed of chimneys, ventilation towers and give this building a dose uniqueness.
