Lake Bled

Lake Bled is a lake in the northwestern Slovenia, one of the most visited tourist destinations. It came into existance when the Bohinj Glacier moved away. It is 2120 m long, up to 1380 m wide and it is of tectonic origin. The lake surrounds Bled Island where you can visit the church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.
