Opis putovanja

Pridružite nam se na ovoj prekrasnoj turi do Stona i Korčule uz degustaciju vina!

Nakon odlaska iz Dubrovnika, na kratkom predahu na dubrovačkom mostu, pruža se lijep pogled na grad. Vozimo se Jadranskom obalom do grada Stona gdje ćete čuti o raznim točkama interesa koje ćemo vidjeti na našem putu. U Stonu ćete razgledati i pružiti vam slobodno vrijeme. Ston je poznat po starim solanama i drugim najdužim gradskim zidinama na svijetu (nakon kineskih zidova). Nakon razgledavanja, imat ćete slobodno vrijeme. Nastavljamo prema Orebiću. Uz put se pruža panoramski prizor poznatih vinograda poluotoka Pelješca, prekrasne prirode i starih naselja, popraćen razgovorima o pelješkim vinarijama i uzgoju dagnji. U Orebić se ukrcavamo na Korčulu. Razgledavanje Korčule uključuje posjet rodnom mjestu Marka Pola i slobodno vrijeme. Otok Korčula predstavlja jedinstven dodir s prekrasnom prirodom i tisućljetnom kulturnom tradicijom i poviješću. Imat ćete priliku posjetiti rodnu kuću Marka Pola, crkvu sv. Marka i mnoge druge spomenike. Vraćamo se brodom do Orebića, a zatim vozimo do Potomja. Po dolasku u Potomje posjetimo jednu od najpoznatijih hrvatskih vinarija. Sudjelovat ćemo u degustaciji poznatih sorti vina, domaćih rakija i likera, uz pratnju vinara iz vinarije. Popodne ćemo se vratiti u Dubrovnik.

Initial booking straightforward but had to call and text to receive the confirmation of the booking. Offered to pick us up close to our apartments to save long walk to bus depot which was confirmed by email and text. Unfortunately on the day there was a mix up as our lift did not arrive for our 7am departure. Eventually after 45 minutes another driver came for us and rushed us to catch up with the rest of the group. The Ston and Korkula stops are both worth visiting but would happily miss the crowded wine tasting which was not the best example of Croatian wine. The trip seems to suggest there will be a guided tour on Korcula but this was not the case we were just dropped off at pier and told to meet back at that point in 3 hours. This is not a guided tour but mainly transport to the places of interest. Our driver was chatty on the way out although in our back seat could not hear what he was saying. We were given an extra stop in Ston on way back to make up for lost time in the morning. This was appreciated.

Our Clients Experience Department has checked this tour service case with our Reservations and Operations Departments and with our tour staff.
Unfortunatelly, our driver had some vehicle technical issues so our Operations Department has sent the second driver to pick up our guests, but our clients were not on the agreed pick up location, so our driver had to wait them and after 40 minutes they were picked up.

We are truly happy and proud because of client's satisfaction and excitement of the tour destinations Ston and Korčula and sad that our clients did not like wine tasting. We are very excited about client's tour impressions and would like to hear more impressions because we truly care about client's satisfaction and trip wishes just like for all the other clients.

I booked this trip from the UK before our holiday. I had never used this company and they were one of the least advertised so I was a little apprehensive. Worry over ! As this trip was amazing! We were collected at the time stated by a very polite and knowledgeable driver Drajan and because only a small group were going on the trip we were picked up in a eight seater Mercedes van which was air-conditioned and very very comfortable.We were the first pick up so along the route we had to pick up the other six passengers then once everyone was in the car our little tour began with Drajan giving us lots of information along the way.First stop was for an hour at ston walls which gave you enough time to climb part of the wall and grab a coffee.We then drove down the peninsular where we had to get on the ferry across to Korcula Island. This island is a must visit with a very beautiful old town and lovely bays with crystal blue water plenty of places to eat and drink. We climbed to the top of the belltower in the centre of the old town the views from the top were amazing. The only downside to this trip was that we only had 2 1/2 hours roughly by the time we arrived on the ferry over to Korcula, personally I think 3 to 4 hours minimum would have been better. After leaving Korcula we then went back down the Peninsula to a lovely winery where we had wine tastings and then we could purchase some beautiful wine. All in all we had a fantastic day our driver was fabulous and we were lucky to share the car with some very nice people too.I would highly recommend happy to visit, very good value for money, confirmation was instant and a reminder of trip was emailed the day before.

We were picked up on time in a clean minibus by Robert we went on to pick up 3 more people on the trip. We went to Ston, given a brief overview of the place, but stop was too short to climb the walls, would have liked longer here. We drove on and had the vines growing explained as to which grapes produced which wine. Got to the Ferry for Korcula, was told it was where Marco Polo was born, get off the Ferry turn left and you are in old town, guide Robert didn’t come on the island and no further guide met us on the island! We then went onto the wine tasting we tried two reds, one white and one desert wine, no brandy, no liqueur. So guides were really non existent on this trip, the other people on the trip were lovely, I think having read other peoples reviews we were meant to have had a guide on the island so nice day but still don’t know anything about Marco Polo

We booked the evening befote online and had a couple of queries which we were given responses to that evening. The driver turned up promptly at a hotel near us. He was smart and courteous and the mini bus was clean and new. He drove well and carefully although the roads were sometimes high and bendy.We picked up two other couples from hotels in Dubrovnik who turned out to be charming and interesting. We stopped off for photos along the way and for coffee and a brief stop in the fascinating village of Ston. A little longer spent here would have been even better. An hour later having driven along the peninsula and seen stunning views on either side, we joined and crossed with the ferry to Korcula. Our female guide there told us briefly and in uncertain English about Marco Polo and where to go. We wandered up and down the old town, had lunch at LD Terrace, one of the restaurants on the edge of the old town, overlooking the peninsula. We then descended the steps below where I swam off the rocks in the crystal blue water. We set off back mid afternoon and stopped to taste and buy wine at the Matusko Winery. The wine was better than expected and the winery was quite extensive and photogenic. We were delivered back to our accommodation at half six, feeling we had accrued some great photos and made some wonderful memories. Thank you Kris and everyone at the team.

I booked this trip on line prior to travelling to Cavtat for holiday. The booking process was very easy and we received regular messages from HappytoVisit in the run up to our excursion date. We were picked up on time from our hotel reception, our driver, Chris, was very pleasant and engaging throughout the day, and was very knowledgeable. We were part of a small group and the mini bus provided plenty of room, was clean and comfortable and the air con worked which was very important in the 30 degree heat! We made good time to Ston so had additional time in this location to wander around which was good. We then drove to meet the ferry to take us to Korchula. A stunning island and well worth a visit. I was initially disappointed as the schedule suggested we had 4 hrs of free time in the island, however it was so very hot that the 2.5 hrs we were given was just enough and we were glad to get back onto the ocean for the ferry ride back to the main land. The guide on Korchula was very poor, she had no real plan and wanted to rush us around the new town to find a cookie shop which no one was interested in and we made our excuses and found our own way around with a map! We had a lovely time wine tasting and also really enjoyed this part of the trip. Our host was very informative and friendly. On the way back to Dubrovnik our driver stopped at a mussel farm which was not on the schedule. Here we were invited to sample fresh mussels and oysters, a great end to a really lovely day out.
