This was truly a perfect day. My first concern, and only criticism was the beginning pick up. My group was picked up in a small van and transferred at 7:00 to an isolated parking lot, off a small back alley back lane. We had no idea what was going on, how long the journey lasted. On arriving at the rest stop 90 minutes later , again, no information as to how long we would remain. Crossing the Oman border questions were not answered and confusion continued- what was happening, what we were doing, what forms we needed and so on. On arrival at Massaman everything turned around and we were rewarded with a beautiful sea for snorkeling, swimming, banana boat, barbecue. The staff and crew went out of their way to assure that every moment was well orchestrated. The scenery of the Gulf of Oman provided the perfect setting for a perfect fun-filled day of activities.

We booked our tour one day before in the evening on happytovisit.com and in the morning we get the confirmation and the pick up time at our hotel in Ajman. The car was a Toyota Landcruiser only 4 months old with ac and very comfortable. We started the tour at 3.00 pm. We were 4 people and the guide named Rashid, picked us up on time. We drove to Dubai and picked up two additional people. Than we drove together to the meeting point where we meet a car from the same company. At the meeting point it is possible to drive with a quad for 20 minutes in the dessert. This is not included you have to pay 150 aed extra in you want. You can buy something to drink there and you can use the washroom. During this time the guides prepare the cars for the dessert. Than it starts the drive through the dessert. It was very funny but it is necessary that you didn‘t eat before the tour. They stoped for making great pictures in the dessert and for sandboarding. After that, the dessert tour go on and few minutes later we reached a bedouin tent near the camp where we had a arabic coffee and softdrinks, you can make pictures with falcon and camels. We ride during the sunset with the camels to the camp. You could use the washrooms, can smoke shisha and get henna tatoos. This all was included. There were some tables arround a stage and we got our vip reserved table. You get some delicous startes, 4 different salads and hummus. After that they started with Barbecue different meat, nuddles, rice and vegetables in tomato sauce. The dessert was some fruits with arabic sweets. The Dinner was very good and you have your Owen waiter who served the dishes on your plate at the table. During the dinner on the Stage is some program with arabic dances and belly dance. Softdrinks and water was included. You can smoke the shisha on your table and have alkoholic drinks at the bar for additional payment for example one Corona for 30 aed. Conclusion: it was a very great trip, we enjoyed the hole day, the price performance was perfect and our driver Rashid was awesome! 👏

Awesome desert safari tour Well organized, pickup ontime from hotel. Very friendly and experienced driver Waheed, thrilling dunebashing, sandbiarding was fantastic, i enjoyed the camel ride, very delicious BBQ dinner, and bellydancer and tanura were amazing. I recommend this desert safari to everyone. Oscar knight tour is the best company.
