Nice guide, nice trip

I went on the Outlander, Palaces & Jacobites Experience bus tour with Timberbush Tours on Friday May 3, 2019. Our guide/driver for that day was Andrew T, aka Jaimie. He was dressed in a kilt. He was a genuinely nice guy, with a good sense of humor! He did a great job! He not only told us a lot of interesting information about Outlander, the Jacobites and Outlander film locations, but a lot about the history and famous inhabitants of Edinburgh as well. We drove in a luxury modern air-conditioned coach with people from different countries: The Netherlands, USA, Sweden etc. We left Edinburgh at 8.45 am and were back at about 17.45 pm.We visited 6 locations and we had plenty of time to visit the locations and to take photos.I really enjoyed the Outlander Tour. It is definitely recommended for the Outlander fan! Next time I want to go on another Outlander tour to visit other film locations. I booked the tour a day before, at the very last minute and I succeeded. There was room for 15 people, only one place was not occupied.

The booking process with HAPPYtoVISIT was super easy, and we knew exactly where to meet our guide and catch the bus. The only thing I didn't realize with this tour is that you spend most of your day inside the bus, and you must pay extra to visit any of the castles that the guide takes you to. It's something easy and relaxing if you're a group that doesn't want to walk much and would rather hear history/see the pretty country side. But, if you're on a short stay in Edinburgh, I'd skip it. I'll definitely checkout more tours of the Scottish Highlands instead on HAPPYtoVISIT for my next tour.

Everything went so smoothly on this day trip. My sister and I enjoyed the ease at which we booked and found the pickup point. Most of all, we loved everything we saw! Such an incredible day led by a very knowledgeable and funny guide. Cheers!

I think this is the best choice if you want to make a private tour through London. The mini is lovely and there is more space in the back than you think. Our guide (i forgot her name ) knew so much about London and the beatles, She told everything with great passion! Everything was great, making the booking and the email contact i had with the guy from the office. The car, the guide, the tour......It was just great fun>
