I went on the Outlander, Palaces & Jacobites Experience bus tour with Timberbush Tours on Friday May 3, 2019. Our guide/driver for that day was Andrew T, aka Jaimie. He was dressed in a kilt. He was a genuinely nice guy, with a good sense of humor! He did a great job! He not only told us a lot of interesting information about Outlander, the Jacobites and Outlander film locations, but a lot about the history and famous inhabitants of Edinburgh as well.
We drove in a luxury modern air-conditioned coach with people from different countries: The Netherlands, USA, Sweden etc. We left Edinburgh at 8.45 am and were back at about 17.45 pm.We visited 6 locations and we had plenty of time to visit the locations and to take photos.I really enjoyed the Outlander Tour. It is definitely recommended for the Outlander fan!
Next time I want to go on another Outlander tour to visit other film locations.
I booked the tour a day before, at the very last minute and I succeeded. There was room for 15 people, only one place was not occupied.
