Join us on a one day trip and visit the incredible national park Plitvice Lakes. The national park is composed of sixteen stunning terraced lakes with clear weather and more waterfalls than you can count. Enjoy a full day of amazing nature, fresh air and forests. Plitvice lakes is the first national park UNESCO listed on the World Heritage List located in Croatia.
Our trip begins at your pick up points and you`ll enjoy a comfortable coastal bus ride to Senj where we`ll take a short break - 15 minutes. Afterwords driving on the serpentine road to Vratnik (700m above sea level) we`ll continue our trip through Lika and Otočac.
Upon the arrival to the national park Plitvice Lakes we`ll take a stroll on the promenade and take a boat ride. The tour then continues on foot to the upper lakes and precedes to another, a bit longer, boat ride. We`ll take a brake at Kozjačka draga and continue on foot to the lower lakes. After viewing the lower lakes we`ll continue on the serpentine way upwards to the exit.
Our next stop is Babin potok, where we`ll arrive driving the same way back to Opatija. To top off this already wonderful day, here is where you`ll get a chance to taste some of the authentic products, made in Lika. Afterwords we`ll hop on the bus and return to our starting point in Opatija.
