 Although it seems impossible to practice horse riding in the crowded cities around Barcelona, a few minutes away from the city you will find a place where it is a real pleasure to mount a horse. Wear your boots and put your pants on! Ride in a Natural Park and find a diverse mix of beautiful forest, green pine groves and impressive mountains. Discover these breathtaking Catalonian landscapes on horseback and enjoy a morning involved in Nature and horses. As well as enjoying your horseback excursion, you will have time to build a relationship with the horse allocated to you. We pride ourselves on giving guests time to get to know their horses, learning and enjoying how to communicate with them. This is the perfect experience for nature-lovers looking for an escape from the city.

Tour leaves Barcelona at 9:00h in a 4wheel drive car with full air conditioning, and heads straight up to the small beautiful village in the middle of the forest, where the Equestrian Center is located. Prepare the horses and get ready for a technical explanation and a ride in the horse arena. Afterwards, visit the natural park on horseback, where you will have time to explore our countryside, surrounded by pines and tweeting wild birds. Uncover the stunning secrets hidden in the depths of the forest, and let your camera create images that will make postcards envious. After the 1,5h adventure in the forest, the morning finishes with a nutritious snack in the ranch and the opportunity to learn how to take care of the horses after the energetic walk. We return to Barcelona, arriving at 13:30h or 14:00h.

Booking:

• Please enter your age, weight and previous horse riding experience at the time of booking in the 'additional information' box so that appropriate reservations can be made.

Important information:

• Suitable clothing required: long trousers, leggings or jodhpurs, and closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles
• A current valid passport is required on the day of the tour.
• Please, bring sun protection during summer season.
• Please, bring raincoat in case it rains and a jacket during winter season. Remember that temperatures at a Natural Park will be lower than in the city.
• No previous riding experience necessary. Activity suitable for all riders from beginners to experienced.
• Children must be at least 8 years of age to ride a horse. Children under 12 years old not experienced in horseback riding may need to be accompanied by an adult walking next to them.
• Maximum weight for horse riding is 187 pounds (85 kg)
• We cannot include pregnant women in our Horse riding tours.
• Please inform about any illness, previous injury or disability that may affect your riding ability in the ‘additional information’ box at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

• No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced.
• If you cancel at least 3 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, there is no cancellation fee.
• If you cancel within 2 calendar days of the scheduled departure or commencement time, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

 Climate:

• Remember that temperatures at a Natural Park will be lower than in the city.
• Rain is usually not a problem in Barcelona and Catalonia, thus we also go on tour when it is raining. Please, bring rain ponchos or rain jacket in case it rains.
• In case you do not enjoy the tour in the rain or there is really bad weather conditions, we can arrange an alternative schedule.
• No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced.
• In case of really bad weather conditions and we do not depart from Barcelona, we will refund 100% of the cost of the tour. If the group decides to go to the equestrian center but we finally cannot ride, we will refund 40% of the cost of the tour.

Punctuality:

• Your punctuality is essential for a smooth start of your horse riding experience
• In case you are late, our guide will be waiting for you for a maximum of 5 minutes.
• In case you can not attend your tour, let us know so we can reschedule you.
