La Neomudejar is Madrid's avant garde center and we consider it should be kept as underground as it is now. Unique location for a visual arts museum. It was formerly used as a railway warehouse, where the MZA was built (First railtrack system which linked Madrid, Zaragoza and Alicante). 'La Neo' features IVAHM, the international visual arts festival of Art House Madrid as well as different temporary exhibitions. It usually receives the award of the place our guests usually like the most.
The Street art tour in Madrid continues to Lavapiés, the most multicultural neighborhood. We will discuss about how do some street art festivals in Spain work at Esto es una Plaza. This city tour will take you around the community of Indians and Moroccans in town. You will also observe the walls of La Tabacalera, a former tobacco factory where more than 2,000 women worked in the labors of the leaf.
To finish our visit, photoshooting! A 400 sq. meters faccade created by Toni Arribas. A present to all women in the socity. The local community also represented in the walls of an abandoned field in the heart of the city.
