The tour starts by visiting the coffee shop Canova Tadolini, a traditional coffee shop which is especially known for their exquisite freshly baked and hand decorated biscoties (cookies).
After a short walk we enter one of the best restaurants in Rome, Enoteca VyTA. Serving traditional food and locally produced wine it is one of the favorite restaurants among food lovers. We start by tasting traditional meat products, such as Prosciutto Di Basiano, Capocollo, Salame Piccante and Mortadella) and the best local cheeses, such as Pecorino, Provolone, Caciotta and Parmigiano Reggiano. This is also accompanied by vegetables such as artichoke, zucchini and Caponata, a traditional sicilian dish made from eggplant, capers, parsley and olives. The starter course is accompanied by an exquisite Rose wine. The second course will be the tasting of 2 italian classic pasta dishes - Amatriciana and Cacio e Pepe, accompanied by a red wine.
Our next stop is the ice-cream shop San Crispino which is famous for its commitment to using exclusively natural ingredients.
After a scoop of tasty gelato, we finish at the 200 year old chocolate shop Moriondo and Gariglio - the oldest chocolate shop in Rome. Here you will get to taste 4 of the most iconic flavours of the shop: orange, honeycomb, hazelnut praline and peppermint. The chocolate recipes remain a guarded secret.
