What shall I see

After the trip by car, which takes about 70 minutes, we will arrive to the part of Kutná Hora called Sedlec. Visit Sedlec Monastery, one of the most important religious institutions in Bohemia. The appearance of the chapel today is the result of Baroque modifications made by Jan Blazej Santini. It is decorated entirely with human bones, modified by the wood carver František Rint. The next stop is the Church of St. Jacob, located in the village of Jakub. This important building dates from the 12th century, and has been classified a national cultural monument.

Admire the magnificent collections of art objects, historical weapons and arms, antiques, glassware, china and pottery, rare stained glass, paintings, fabrics, and furniture from the Renaissance to the 20th century. For lunch, you’ll visit the in Kosů pub to enjoy fine Czech cuisine. On the drive back to Prague, you’ll stop to explore the city of Kutná Hora, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
