What shall I see

Tour starts at 9.30am with a departure from an address you pick in Florence. First stop is the Chianti wine area in Siena. In Siena, you will also visit Piazza del Campo and see the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Belltower. Next stop is at Monteriggioni, a walled town known for its medieval fortifications and watchtowers, fortress made for protection of the north in the wars against the enemies of Florence. After visiting amazing Monteriggioni, you will head to San Gimignano area and visit organic winery where we will stop to have a lunch and wine tasting at the organic wine farm in Chianti (Vernaccia white Wine, Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, Brunello from Montalcino, Supertuscan, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Truffle Oil, Vinsanto with Cantuccini)​. After delicious lunch and wine tasting, we will dride along the hills where you will see different types of vineyards and olive grooves and arrive in San Gimignano. Explore San Gimignano and we suggest you to climb Torre Grossa, highest tower in San Gimignano and visit Antica Gelateria di Piazza and try the best Gelato in the world. At 3.30 pm, we will go back to Florence and on your way back, we will stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy panoramic view of Florence.

Visit to Siena and wine areas
Through the beautiful Tuscan countryside approaching Siena admire the beautiful Florentine hills. We will guide you through the Chianti wine area. Then go up the hills of Chianti and arrive in Siena. Visit Piazza del Campo (Field Square) and see the the Cathedral (we recommend you to climb), the Baptistery and the Belltower.

Visit to Chianti wine region
Departure from Siena to Chianti wine region. Monteriggioni. Until the XI century Monteriggioni was a station of standstill on the Francigena Road in Tuscany. Siena transformed Monteriggioni in the imposing Fortress to protection of the boundary north in the wars against the anemy Florence. We suggest you walk on the defensive walls and admire the Chianti.

Arrival at San Gimignano area
Arrival at San Gimignano area and visit to organic winery where we stop for typical tuscany lunch and wine tasting at organic wine farm in Chianti (Vernaccia white Wine, Chianti Classico, Chianti Riserva, Brunello from Montalcino, Supertuscan, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Truffle Oil, Vinsanto with Cantuccini).

After the lunch and the wine tasting, driving along the Tuscany hills where you can see the different types of vineyards and olive grooves and arrive in San Gimignano.

Visit San Gimignano
Visit San Gimignano (the unique medieval city of towers). The town of San Gimignano, also known for its beautifully preserved medieval towers. 14 left out of 72 initially built in the 13th century. We suggest you climb the Torre Grossa (Bigger Tower) and taste the best Gelato in the world at Antica Gelateria di Piazza.

Stop at the Piazzale Michelangelo
We go back to Florence where the tour would be end by 5:00 pm but only after making a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for a panoramic appreciate the exceptional view of Florence.

  • There will be no penalty for cancellations of excursion bookings comunicated at least 8 days prior to the booked excursion date.
  • Between 8 and 2 days prior to the excursion, we will refund 90% of paid import; less than two days prior to the excursion payment of the entire amount will be due and no reimbursement will be granted.
  • If the tour gets cancelled due to really bad weather conditions or safety reasons you are not refund.
