Why should you visit Cristo Rei?

Zrinjevac, a właściwie Plac Nikoli Šubića Zrińskiego, jest jednym z zagrzebskich placów i parków z alejami platanów, stanowi część tzw. Zielonej Podkowy Lenucciego, która składa się z siedmiu zagrzebskich placów na tzw. Dolnym Mieście. Rozciąga się na powierzchni 12 540m2. Zrinjevac jest najstarszym parkiem na Dolnym Mieście i datuje się na 1892g. Wcześniej były tu pola uprawne, które później przekształcono w jarmark zwierzęcy. Park otaczają wspaniałe budowle architektoniczne w stylach neorenesansu, neoromantyzmu i architektury klasycznej, a zaprojektowany jest sam w stylu parku angielskiego. Pośrodku parku znajduje się pawilon muzyczny, który ustawiono w tym miejscu w 1891 r. Od strony południowej znajdują się popiersia sławnych Chorwatów. Od północnej strony Zrinjevca znajduje się dar od Adolfa Holzera – słup meteorologiczny z 1884 roku. Od strony południowej ustawione są liczne popiersia znanych Chorwatów.

Three star

We left so late because there were 10 people we had to wait on. So the evening ended up late. In the Fado place, they darkened the place when ever there is singing, thus we were not able to take photos.
