In this journey, go through Costa del Sol to arrive to the Port of Tarifa where you will meet your guide for this trip and embark a fast ferry to a 50-minute ride to Port of Tánger Ville. This city is famous for its position as the meeting point of Europe and Africa, and it is interesting because different cultures throughout the centuries left their traces in this city, all of which you will hear from your guide. This picturesque town was also recognized by artists such as Delacroix, Matise, Capote or Bowles. We will go through the Promenade and up to Malabata area where you can find Villa Harris, a Moorish villa built by a correspondent from The Times Walter Harris. There you can also find cafés, restaurants, shopping centres, luxury hotels and casinos. We go on with the tour towards Cape Spartel, and on the way we will make a detour for you to take photos with camels. The next tourist sights we will visit are the Caves of Hercules, known for their two openings: one to land and one to see, also known as the Map of Africa.
Later you will get to see Mohammed V Mosque, the Royal Palace, the Mendoub Palace, formerly owned by a multi-millionaire Malcom Forbes. After that, we arrived in Medina, the highest peak of Kasbah where you can see attractions like Bit el Mȃl or Dar el Makhzen. You can also enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Gibraltar from the Bab El Bhar, which translates as “sea gate”. After visiting these spectacular sights of Morocco, it is time to take a rest and try traditional food in one of the local restaurants. When you gather the energy for continuing the tour, we will go on for a walk through Medina’s narrow streets and get to Petit Socco where you can grab a drink, shop for souvenirs or visit a Centre for Moroccan Handicrafts. Later, time will be set for our journey back to Tarifa and your original destinations.
