What shall I see

National Park Krka will definitely not disappoint you. It has a river and a 75km long canyon that flows into the Adriatic Sea. The National park is famous for its magical waterfalls and lakes, historical sites with many well preserved buildings of the Roman Empire. The Hydropower dam is only the second one in the world, built just a little after the one on the Niagara Falls. You absolutely have an enormous amount of beautiful sights to witness. At the Visovac islet you will find the Mother of Mercy Franciscan Monastery back from the 14th century. After you enjoy everything you find out on Krka, you will visit Šibenik. It is an incredible town with beautiful long history and well-preserved parts of it. You will find The Cathedral of St.James that was in construction for over 100 years and is protected by UNESCO because it is the only cathedral built entirely by stone.

Krka waterfalls and Visovac islet
In Krka National Park, your guide will introduce you to the history and legends of fantastic Krka waterfalls. You will stroll through well organised trails on Krka river, enjoy in peace of surrouding forest, discover most beautiful travertine barriers and visit renovated stone houses and watermills. We will ride in electric boat to charming Visovac island situated in the middle of the lake, with historic Franciscan monastery built in 1445. Later, around 13:30 you will have free time for lunch.

Sibenik and cathedral of St James, UNESCO site
We will spend 2 hours sightseeing Sibenik and its main attractions. With a labyrinth of dalmatian steep streets and its defensive fortresses it is a joy to explore. There we will visit St James cathedral, Unesco World Heritage site, and you will learn more about its construction, the only cathedral in the whole Europe constructed entirely of stone.
