A truly stunning and breathtaking location, a must see. The tour was well organised and ran smoothly.

The lakes are beautiful , the guide was informative and helpful. Bus was very comfortable. Pick up and return to Biograd was stressful as arrangements were vague and the Driver surly. We would recommend a visit to the lakes, one of natures wonders. Wear good walking shoes and maybe the tour should include a boat ride as optional to the nearest point to the Big Waterfall. It saves time and makes the walk less arduous.

Really enjoyed my trip to Plitvice Lakes. The booking process was ok. The location for the pick up could be more clear but we found the bus in the end. Bus was comfortable and information given was interesting but could have been a bit more detailed. However the guide was trying to give a commentary in both English and German and worked hard all day to keep everyone informed. We arrived at the national park on time and the transfer was smooth and whole day was very well organized. It was disappointing that the first boat trip was cancelled by the park and replaced by a much less pleasant 'train' journey. However, this was not the guide's fault but was a decision taken by the park the day before due to the big crowds, to speed up the process of getting people around the park. We really enjoyed the multiple small waterfalls and the long boat trip on the 2 lakes. I agree with the guide, that the larger waterfall was not as impressive as it was low on water. For me the lakes and many waterfalls we saw along the way to the 'big waterfall' really stole the show for me. A word of caution, you need to be relatively fit as there are over 10,000 steps up and down and these are made of wooden logs with random steps up and down, making it very easy to miss your footing and slip. While all the brochures said it would be cold in the park and that we needed warm clothing, it was actually very hot and sunny in the park and i was glad I did not bring a sweater with me on the trip. The toilets and food facilities were good and everything was well organized to cope with the crowds. i would certainly recommend the trip.

The park is beautiful! Photos don't do it justice! A couple of things made the trip a less enjoyable than it could have been for me: When we stopped shortly before the park, I was a few minutes late getting back to the bus (thankfully it did wait for me!!) but I was told quite strictly that we'd be leaving the park at 3:30pm sharp, and if I was late then I'd have to get a public bus home - fair enough. This did make me feel a little "under pressure" to get round the park quick enough to guarantee not being late, so I felt like I couldn't properly relax. I ended up missing the final waterfall (the big one) to ensure I got to the meeting point in time. I got there at 3:05pm, but the tour guide didn't arrive until 4:00pm. A little frustrating. Admittedly I was on my own as well which maybe didn't help, as I was getting a little panicked about he possibility of getting left behind on my own. The park itself is absolutely stunning, and has to be seen to be appreciated. This was the reason I came to Croatia and it was worth it!
