The whole region around Dubrovnik is famous for very good wine, and not just good, but one of the best in the world. The problem why these wines are not so popular in the world is that the production capacities are limited so you are not able to buy them in very much places around the world, but every year the wineries get more awards for the fantastic wine. On excursion: The Best of Montenegro Tour from Dubrovnik
My husband and I loved this tour! A MUST DO. Our tour guide Desco grew up in Dubrovnik and was so knowledgeable about the region. A short drive across the border, we heard so many stories about the history and culture of Bosnia that felt natural rather than out of a guide book. After a guided walk though a village and market (wow), we visited the monastery and sampled 3 wines. The local family winery was our favorite where we tasted 5 wines, followed by a memorable lunch by the water. Our guide received an update that the border back to Croatia was backed up, so he took us an alternate route back through the mountains with more stories and culture, an adventure in itself. This tour felt like a personal insiders guide to the region rather than a touristy gimmick and is a MUST if you love wine and culture.

The boat was better than expected and it was great to see the replica boat in such a beautiful setting. The 3 islands we visited were really great and i felt the time on each was about right. Lunch was unexpectedly tasty, it helped we sat beside some really nice people. I was a bit sceptical before the day but after it i was really impressed with the organisation and i would recommend it as a great wat to see a little bit more of this beautiful country
