Introduction: What to Expect on the Brazilian Side of Iguazu Falls from Puerto Iguazu
If you’re visiting the Iguazu Falls region, a trip to the Brazilian side is a must. This tour offers a 6 to 7-hour day exploring the natural splendor of over 270 waterfalls, with the added benefit of hotel pickup and drop-off, making it a hassle-free experience.
Guide was great, experience was great. Good balance of guided activity and time for personal exploring.
Unfortunately it rained for much of the day. We enjoy hiking and the Brazil side offers very little in comparison to the Argentinian side, although the opportunity to get closer to the Devil's throat is better as they weren't as effected by the recent floods.
Our driver Roger arrived on time. He gave us information about the bird sanctuary and the park. And I am very thankful that he gave us the option to try the boat safari. We had a small group (3) and it seemed like a private tour. He was very patient with us. It was almost a full day tour.
For $122 per person, you’ll enjoy a guided journey through Iguaçu National Park, with plenty of time to marvel at the Devil’s Throat and take in sweeping panoramas from the Panoramic Elevator.
What we love about this experience is the personalized attention with small groups limited to 15 travelers, and the convenience of being picked up directly from your hotel—no navigating border crossings or crowded buses. The tour also includes a stop at the Chocolate Caseiro handicraft shop, adding a delicious, authentic touch to your day.
The main consideration? The timing can vary, so it’s worth being flexible. Some travelers have noted longer days and varying schedules, so pack comfortable shoes and patience. This tour is ideal for nature lovers eager for iconic views and first-time visitors who want a smooth, guided experience with local insight.

A Deep Dive into the Experience
Tour guide was engaging and informative. Only thing to note is that the tour time was given as 6 hours on GetYourGuide but our pick up time was 8am and we were not dropped back until 4.
Hassle-free hotel pick-up and border transfer. Nice driver and guide. I enjoyed the tour.
Mauricio taught us a lot about the falls and Brazil and was a super host.

Arrival at Iguaçu National Park

William was very helpful and informative; he took good care of us. We don’t know how we could have navigated getting from Puerto Iguazú/Argentina over to the Brazil side of the falls without a guide!
We were lucky to be alone in the tour so it was more than a private tour. The guide picked us up on time in a clean and comfortable car, he was very informative, friendly and helpful (historical data, photos of the big draught, etc). He took us first to visit the bird park (without pressure) and...

Great half day to see the falls from Brazil. I was lucky and basically had a private tour as it was just the driver, my tour guide André and I. I was picked up on time from my hotel. Andre explained so much to me. Crossing the border from Argentina to Brazil was fine - no issues. I was given time...

From here, you can walk along the catwalk to the Porto Canoas area, where you can see the Iguazu River and even grab a snack or browse handcrafted souvenirs.

While most reviews are glowing, a few mention that timing can be variable. The tour lasts around 6 hours, but some travelers found their days extended, notably when crossing borders or waiting at shops. It’s wise to prepare for a full day and wear comfortable shoes, as you'll be walking quite a bit along the trails and catwalks.
I ended up getting a private tour. I was the only tourist signed up on that day, but they did not cancel the tour. The guide was excellent, gave me a full tour and did not rush.
We were the only couple to get from the Argentinan side, so there was a private car to pick us and help us cross to Brazil. Then we met the group (all staying in the Brazilian side) at the Chocolate Shop. The waterfalls from the brazilian side are a must do, the views are amazing! we really enjoyed...

Nice guide that drove us across the border, allowed us to skip ticket lines and nice transport to each location. He recommended the bird park and I am glad we decided to do it - well worth it and beautiful. The chocolates at the first stop are pretty good too. Overall a nice day on the Brazilian...
